Blues Postage Stamps

RE: Blues Postage Stamps

It's great to see all these blues greats honored on Postage
Stamps (Yes, Little Walter and Sonny Boy should be included),
but somebody is making a big mistake by including B.B. King -
he's still alive.

What I mean is, it's illegal in the United States for money or
postage to bear the likeness of a living person. This law was
made sometime in the 19th century when senators started honoring
themselves and their cronies in this fashion.

So, great as B. B. may be, he can't be included in this group.
Maybe they could name a freeway or a federal building after him,
and a harmonica player could take his place for postal honors . .
