I have a friend who started playing about the same time I did. Neither
of us knows more than a few songs but he can improvise very well. I on
the other hand have trouble. My friend has been playing lead guitar
for about 15 years and is very good at improvising blues tunes, etc. I
credit his ease of improvising on the harp to this. Maybe that's just
to make myself feel better :-) But to answer the original question, I have
the problem too. I have a few choice blues tapes that I am gonna start
playing to for practice. I hope it helps. Anybody else?

Greg
