Well, I got a CX12. Very nice!

Hi folks

You may remember that some time ago I inquired whether a Hohner CX12 would be a
good replacement for my venerable old Chrometta 12. I had been thinking of
getting a Hohner 270 to replace it, until I tried one, and didn't really like
it much (it took too much "pressure" to get a note out of it, and it (IMHO)
didn't have the loud, clear sound in the low register that my Chrometta has).
Anyway, Harvey Andruss suggested that I use the search facilities at the
HarmoniGopher to search for "CX12." Which I did, and I found some good,
favorable articles on the CX12. Also, Chris Pierce and
jesmith%nhqvax.dnet@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx provided positive reviews of
the CX12.

So I bought one (black, in C) from Farrell. WOW! It's really super-nice IMHO.
It doesn't take much pressure to get a nice, loud tone. The slide is very nice
and fast, and I _love_ the round holes and "seamless" plastic playing surface.
(Plus it looks like it could be Darth Vader's harmonica, which is kinda cool
IMO ;^)

One small complaint, though: It comes in this _huge_ case (like 10" x 3" x
1.5"), which is kinda clunky to carry around, and won't fit in my guitar case's
pick-box.

P.S. I'm sure I have forgotten someone. Thanks to all of you.

See ya
