I don't know if there is an easy way to describe it. It's not a bend but
it's related. Pick up a copy of "The Harp Handbook" by Steve Baker. It's
loaded with tons of harmonica info. It's not a 'how to' book.

He made a truckload of recordings in the seventies with a band called The
Siegal-Schwall Band. They did quite a bit of blues but not really standard
stuff. To me it was more like blues influenced rock. I must have at least
10 of their albums but I have no idea if any of it has been re-released on
CD.
