I cup the 57 in my hand with the harp.  Yes, you do have to crank yer amp
up, as the 57 is not as hot as a crystal bullet mike.  However, I find this
leads to a better sound - the further up you can wind the master volume,
the harder you'll be driving those power tubes ...
