Sugar Blue

Omer asks about a new Sugar Blue album, after Blue Blazes. Yes,
he has a new one out in Japan. Blue Blazes was out in Japan
nearly a year before the U.S. version.

On the new one he actually plays that bass instrument he's
holding in the Blue Blazes photo. Someone may have already
answered FJM's query about this. It belongs either to the
Chromatica or the Polyphonia family. Both these families of
Hohner instruments are tuned with one semitone per hole. For
instance, Hole 1 might be C, Hole 2 would be C#, Hole 3 would be
D and so on.

Some members of this family have both blow and draw reeds at the
same pitch for each note, while others, like the bass instrument
Sugar Blue is holding, have one blow reed per hole.
