Curiosity made me pick this one up used. Your assessment is pretty close
to mine. Not much harp though, and what's there is Dylan-like to me. They
seem to draw from older blues styles and newer hip-hop rhythms, which *is*
an interesting twist from acid jazz. Their lyrics appear to reflect this
interest in ~the old time~, esp. in ~Blues Music~, which actually sounds
like a cop of some ~Velvet Underground~ to me -- not quite so old time
;-) They're not great musicians, but they generate a good feel, esp. for
not sampling. Some may call them poseurs. Hip hoppers aren't very
interested. I haven't seen, but have received feedback from 20-something
net-folk that indicates they do have an interesting show. However, they
are not a band you see for harp.
