Hello Harpers,
I too am a younger harp player ( 22 yrs old, harp 2 yrs )
and certified blues fanatic ( what other music is there ) who
has been lurking on this list for some time. I am extremely impressed by
breadth of knowledge and experience on this list but at the same time
I am somewhat reluctant to post for fear of having nothing to add or
asking an obvious question. I have noticed harmonica making a bit of a
surge in popularity. This is evident in the growing popularity of blues,
tv commercials with harp ( another reason to love beer ) and of course
the talent of new harp players like Popper ( whose talent I respect but who
I do not hold in the same regard as the legends whose names need not be
mentioned for you all to know who I mean ). I am glad to see other young
harp players taking up the instrument with the same intensity that I have.
So anyway hello to you all. Now let me stun you with my first
question. Could some of our more knowledgeable contributers ( I will let
each of you decide if you are included ) please include their e-mail
addresses in there posts. I have found myself having followup questions
better suited to e-mail with no idea where to send it. MIKE CURTIS this
 means you please.
Anybody in the Atlanta area? Gimme a buzz. I have met alot of the
local, obscure talent and would appreciate company in my search for the best!
