Flames, attitudes and other sh*t!

Ok Folks,

I realize I haven't been keeping up with things lately, but several
people have written me, and in the few posts I have read I have become
aware of a good number of no no's.

If you have a Flame, Complaint, or Problem for/with/about someone
else's post, then do NOT post it to the Harp-L mailing list. Let me
qualify this by an example of what is right and what is not.

Let's say I post a message about the intricacies of playing Chromatic
Harmonica. Now, since I am not very versed in this area, I may make a
mistake or two (or more). So being a nice guy like he is, Winslow
posts a follow up message politely correcting my mistakes.

That is a good situation. If "I" make a mistake, I like to be
corrected, because I want to know what is RIGHT.

Now, let's say I post the same letter and Winslow decides I am an
utter moron and decides to tell the whole list that fact (or maybe
his corrections are condescending and snide). Then that is WRONG!

NOTE -- I used Winslow as an example because he is the first person
that came to mind and I thought he wouldn't mind (I apologize if you
did Winslow). He's a great guy.

I feel sort of stupid having to post stuff like this, but it is
apparent that it is (or at least WILL BE) necessary.

We have not had much problems with this in the past, so let's NOT
start now.

WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!

I WILL remove ANYONE from the Harp-L mailing list that I deem to be
trouble maker. This may be a temporary disciplinary removal or it may
be PERMANENT!

This is not a threat, merely a fact. I want to keep the list as
"wholesome" and productive as possible.

Questions, comments, or personal slander should be sent to:

	pierccm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

and NOT to Harp-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you,

Chris
