Just an idea here because you're using the same mic for 
vocals and harp. DOD makes an A-B box called a "270"
which can be used two ways, both handy. For your
purposes (1 mic/vocal & harp), put an xlr/hi-Z
adaptor on your mic cord and run into the common input. 
Use one (A) output for amp or harp channel (hi-Z) and for the 
other output  (B) use a hi-Z (1/4") to XLR cord to go to the 
vocal channel. Set each channel accordingly and step on the 
box when you switch (it's quiet). The box is also useful
if you have a two channel amp but no switching and you
want to quickly alternate between the clean and dirty 
channel (or two amps...).
