Birthday Greetings go out to list member Bob ferguson, who was born on this
day in 1933.  Bob has taught harmonica in the the public schools where he
lives and is still active playing music.  Happy Birthday Bob!!!

Studio harmonica player Stanley Behrens was born on this day in 1946.
Behrens has worked on a wide range of musical projects including work with
Willie Dixon, Van Dyke Parks, War, the television series "The Rockford
Files" and others.

Country/Rock multi-instrumentalist Michael Clarke died on this day in 1993.
Clarke was a founding member of the Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers and
Firefall.  amongst his many talents he played the harmonica.

Blues guitar legend Jimmy Rogers died on this day in 1997.  Jimmy was a
major part of shaping the sound that emerged from the Chicago Blues scene
during the 1950's, working closely with Muddy Waters, Little Walter and
others.  Like most good Blues players, he also played some harmonica.
