Jazz / Rock / Blues harmonica player Peter "Madcat" Ruth was born on this
day in 1949.  Madcat's been active on the harmonica since the early 1970's.
he learned to play by listening to Chicxago's great master players and even
took some lessons from Big Walter Horton.  He's since worked with Dave
Brubeck as well as recording with others and releasing about a dozen albums
of his own.
