more on dentures and harp

Hi all:

It's been about two years since I've been playing with a full set of
dentures and virtually no problems as long as I used a dental adhesive
when playing, and I just wanted to mention that I've been tried most
varieties of Polident and Poli-Grip, etc.

I've settled on Poli-Grip "Free" with no artificial colors or flavors
since it gives me absolutely the best results, with no excess
gumminess or hassle, so I'm passing on the recommendation. Your
mileage may vary but I'm really impressed. Very comfortable.

The only thing I've noticed is that it works much beter if I place the
adhesive at least an hour before playing, use as little as
possible--and clean my harps with denture tablets fairly regularly
since I noticed that it does make for some build-up in the holes and
on the reed plates.

Don't put off dental work for fear that dentures will hurt your
harmonica playing. It's not that big a hassle--and it's certainly less
hassle than playing with bad teeth.

There ya go...
