Harmonica Festival, Birmingham ,UK, April 26th, 2003.



This year's National Harmonica League  Spring Festival will be held held on
Saturday April 26th, at the Kings Heath Cricket and Social Club, in
Birmingham, UK. Doors open around 09:30am

It should be even better than last years very successful Spring Festival,
held in nearby Knowle. 

There will be workshops covering diatonic/blues and chromatic/group music
from Ricky Cool (Blues), Mat Walklate (Irish/Blues), Laurie Garman
(Chicago), Giles Hedley (Guitar/Harmonica), Jim Hughes and his harmonica
group, Dave Shannon (amplification) and young Philip Achille (Chromatic)
will be taking part. There will be evening concert where everyone can join
in. Norman Ives will be providing advice, CDs, books and instruments.

Come along and meet fellow players of all standards and take the chance to
talk to these great pro players in person.

Admission #10 for the day for NHL members and #12:50 for non-members. Join
on the day and get the discount. Food is available.

The best way to avoid congestion is to approach from the M42 (Jcn 3) up the
A435 which runs past the door. It is about 4 miles. There are more details
