Blues singer and harmonica player Moses "Whispering" Smith died on this day
in 1984.  Smith had been playing since he was fourteen and worked with other
Blues artistslike Lightnin' Hopkins.  he recorded several albums for the
Excello label in the 1960's.

Blues singer and piano player Willie Mabon died on this day in 1985.  Like
most great Blues artists, Mabon could also play the harmonica, though he
usually had one of the other great Chicago Blues players sit in with him.
