Reviving Old Hohner 270

Hey all,

i have a Hohner 270 which is pretty old. at the very least, it's pretty
damn dusty. the windsavers are leather and all curled up. the wood comb
looks a little rough. now, Farrell sells a plastic comb with new 270
reedplates. according to their site "all you have to do is install your
original mouthpiece and slide assembly and the coverplates and you have a
new ready to play harmonica." what i'm wondering is, has the 270 undergone
any changes (say, in size) that would make this not work if i try to use my
old 270's covers, slide, and mouthpiece?
