Blues singer and harmonica player "Whispering" Moses Smith was born on this
day in 1932.  Smith began playing the harmonica at the age of fourteen and
played locally around Mississippi until he began recording in the 1960's.
He recorded several albums and toured before his death in 1984.

Blues harmonica player "Little" Mack Simmons was born on this day in 1934.
Simmons learned to play the harmonica while growing up in rural Arkansas.
He became a fixture in Chicago's Blues scene after moving here in the 1950's
and played regularly until his death in 2000.

Chord harmonica player Bob Bauer died on this day in 2001.  Bob played with
the Harmonikings band from 1959 until the late 1960's.  He took Al Fiore's
