Daily Almanac - July 2

Country harmonica pioneer Deford Bailey died on this day in 1982. Bailey
was the house harmonica player for the Grand Old Opry radio show from the
late 1920's until the early 1940's. After he was fired he operated a
shoeshine stand in Nashville and only performed in public when the Grand Old
Opry would invite him back.

That's all I have for today. Have fun and practice.
