Country singer, guitar and harmonica player Holland "Si" Puckett was born on
this day in 1899.  Puckett recorded several records during the late 1920's,
but had his career cut short when he died of stab wounds recieved in a card
game.

Blues harmonica player Willie Cobbs was born on this day  in 1932.  He grew
up in Arkansas, where he got great training in the music of the church.  He
moved to Chicago in the 1950's and became a fixture in the local Blues
scene.  He moved back to Arkansas in the late 1960's and is still somewhat
active in music.

Blues harmonica player Big John Wrencher died on this day in 1977.  Wrencher
was getting a haircut from old freind and fellow Blues harmonica player Wade
Walton, when he was felled by a heart attack.  Walton enshrined Big John's
last bottle of whiskey in the barber shop until he, himself passed away a
couple of years ago.
