I posted about this to the list a year or two ago, in effort to get the 
man's correct name to be known among harmonicaplayers (the same for the word 
"embouchure" BTW).

I gave up on the idea though, after seeing a Hohner publicity with wrong 
spelling.
If even THEY don't want to know...
