Harmonica band player Lou Delin was born on this day in 1910.  Lou learned
to play the harmonica while growing up in New York's Hebrew Orpahan's
asylum.  After taking fourth place in a harmonica contest he became a part
of Borrah Minevitch's first band and later was a part of several other
Vaudeville harmonica bands.

Blues harmonica player Lazy Lester Johnson was born on this day in 1933.
Johnson began playing in bands while he was still in his teens and was
making records by the late 1950's.  he's recorded quite a bit of great Blues
since then.

Blues singer and harmonica player Lou "Kid Thomas" Watts was born on this
day in 1934.  Watts learned how to play the harmonica from Little Willie
Smith after moving to Chicago in the early 1940's.  Watts' career was cut
short when he was murdered in 1970.

Blues harmonica player Little Willie Anderson died on this day in 1991.
Anderson learned to play the harmonica from his father, then became a
protege of Little Walter, acting as chauffeur, valet and occasional
substitute when Walter couldn't make it to gigs.  Anderson did record one
album of his own in 1981.
