Jazz harmonica master Charles Leighton was born on this day in 1921.
Leighton began his career playing in harmonica bands.  After World War Two
he began working as a soloist and has become one of the most respected Jazz
harmonica players on the East Coast.

Blues singer and harmonica player Tad Robinson was born on this day in 1956.
Working out of Chicago, Tad has played with quite a numbere of local artists
as well as doing two albums of his own.

Country singer, guitar and harmonica player Foy Willing died on this day in
1978. Willing began playing the harmonica as a youngster, growing up in
Texas and he eventually became one of the founding members of the Riders of
the Purple Sage, the group the backed Roy Rogers for several years.
