Early Country guitar and harmonica player Frank Hutchison was born on this
day in 1897.  Hutchison began playing the harmonica at the age of eight and
recorded 32 songs btween 1926 and 1929.  he stopped playing during the Great
Depression and never returned to music.

Blues guitar and harmonica player Frank Edwards was born on this day in
1909.  Edwards began working professionally in music when he was fourteen
and worked continuously into the 1960's.   His career stopped for several
years, but he resumed playing again in the 1970's.

Cajun music pioneer Dewey Balfa was born on this day in 1927.  Balfa was the
leader of The Balfa Brothers Band and though he was best known as a fiddle
player, he would also occasionally play the harmonica as well.
