Re: Toots, Diz, and Mongo! & Randy!

JP,

I've heard the record, not alot of Harp but a pretty legendary Jazz
Line-up. I had the pleasure last summer to meet the producer of the Montreux
Jazz fest, Claude Nobs (he plays blues harp BTW and we did some Jamming.) He
told me some great stories about Toots and showed me some footage of Toots
and Quincy live in Montreux...it was soooo good!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, here's another collectors gem: (also from Montreux 1980) Toots
is mostly on guitar and it's a record with just: Toots, Diz and Bernard
"Pretty" Purdie. Diz even sings and plays Jew's Harp on this one!!!

(Looks like I'll be performing with Purdie at the Namm show in 2004)

Here's the link: enjoy and control yourself in those large record
stores!!!,-)

BTW, the great Randy Singer was invited up at a recent Toots Performance in
Florida. I heard they tore the house down on "Bluesette" (Bravo Randy!)

Happy Record Hunting..........rob paparozzi
