Country music pioneer Vernon Dalhart died on this day in 1948.  Dalhart was
one of the very first stars of Country music, making million-selling
recordings in the early 1920's.  among his many talents, he played the
harmonica.

Blues harmonica player Darrell Nulisch was born on this day in 1952.
Nulisch helped to found Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets and also played
with Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters as well as recording several albums of
his own.

Birthday greetings go out to list member Tim Moody, who was born on this day
in 1957.  happy Birthday Tim!!!!

Blues singer, guitar and harmonica player Walter "Furry" Lewis died on this
day in 1981.  Lewis' career dated back to his playing guitar with W.C. Handy
as well as playing with the Memphis Jug Band.  He disappeared from the music
scene for almost thirty years before being re-discovered in the 1960's.
