Related to this, I can recall there's a 3 CD set called "Living Country Blues",
released by Evidence (in fact it's a compilation of a larger collection of more than
10 LP's from L + R), where you can find Son Thomas playing the guitar and singing,
while James "Broom Man" Jones rubs the floor -where he previously threw some dust-
with a broom. Weird but nice effect. In this case, I answered to your question nº 1
(James Jones), but can't answer the others ;o)
