Re: [Harp-L] ? for Rob Paparozzi/Richard Hunter Digitech RP200 Vs.Vocal 300

Chuck,

Sorry, you also asked about the new Audix "Fireball"....it sounds nothing like a Bullet, it's basically a Standard Audix Vocal Mic with the stem removed. So it's pretty Clean sounding......hope this helps....
Hope fully Audix will get some pictures on their website soon....they don't start production until Jan 05.......rob p

Subject: [Harp-L] ? for Rob Paparozzi/Richard Hunter Digitech RP200 Vs.Vocal 300

Hi,
I guess this question goes out to Rob Paparozzi and Richard Hunter,
After reading about the reviews from both of you guy's I am considering Purchasing one but want to know which one you think may be best for my situation< My current rig Is a 59 Bassman RI (tweaked by Sonny Junior) and a crystal element jt30 , I also use a danecho and a boss dd-5 digital delay

I play in a blues based band however we play a lot of Hard Rock As well,( Led Zeppelin,Aerosmith, Black Crowes etc.) I am lookin for some other effects and a different sound from my standard rig so i can ad some variety to what my sound is.
My understanding is that the Vocal 300 does not have the amp models as the RP 200 does? I guess I would like to know what the differences in these units are so i can decide Which One to get. Also want to know more about this new fireball microphone from Audix. Rob I haven't seen you in a while but I hope you still remember me you gave me a couple of lessons a couple of years ago and I have come out to see you Play a number of times. While I only had a couple of lessons you really helped me with my Understanding of first and third position and even though I'm still working hard at it I have improved alot. I Gotta get out to see you do another show soon. Hope All is well and Happy Holidays. Richard I have been to your web site and heard some of the sounds you are able to get with the Rp200 and really liked what you've been able to do with this unit and your playing is Awesome! anyway any feed back will be appreciated.
