Hi Jp,
  The stereo line out will plug straight into your Stereo's line in, if it
has line in.  You may need to get the appropriate cable with RCA plugs for
the stereo.   There are a number of different RCA convertor plugs that can
be used at the other end to connect it to your new toy.
  Its a good approach for practicing at home.

I'll be interested on your opinions of how easy or hard it is to master the
dials, and setting it up and such.  I only had 20 minutes with one, and
even with the manual I found it unintuitive and complicated.   
That said, I acknowledge once you know your way around something like this,
it usually gets easier.
