[Harp-L] Righteous Ricci rave

Brad Kava of the Mercury News, a San Jose, California newspaper, wrote the following about Jason Ricci in a wrapup of that area's hottest concerts of 2004: "Jason Ricci at JJ's Blues in San Jose and Biscuits and Blues in San Francisco (Sept. 14 and 19): You have to go back to Stevie Ray Vaughan to find a hot new phoenix capable of bringing the blues back to life like this. Not only does this lank and charismatic 30-year-old from Nashville play the harmonica faster than John Popper (and far, far more bluesy), but he sings and dances like a young Mick Jagger or Steven Tyler. You can't take your eyes off him."
Incidentally, the other acts lauded by Kava? Rush, Prince, Green Day, Bette Midler and Paul McCartney. check out the full story here <http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/entertainment/music/10502884.htm>.
