I'm obviously honored to be featured playing harmonica on the new
(out as of June 8 from RCA Victor) release by the "Matriarch of the 
Blues", ETTA JAMES. The disc, Blues to the Bone, is a return to Etta's 
straight-up blues roots, in that we cut all blues standards (many from 
the heyday of Chess Records, making the album somewhat "full-circle", as 
many of Etta's early records & hits were for Chess). When Etta puts her 
signature voice to these songs, it's as if I'm hearing each of them for 
the first time...

My own 3rd release, The Truth will Rock You, cut in Austin, Texas
with a crew of that town's finest musicians, will be in the world as of 
late summer. Details forthcoming...
