Re: Bad Cat Amps



FWIW, I played through a couple of Bad Cats (including the 5 watt) at a music store about a year ago, and I also thought they sounded great -- so did the in-store music instructor who had never heard a harp played through them before (and I don't think he was just trying to sell me one -- I think he just rents the space there).   I can't recall how I had them dialed in, but I seem to recall that there was more than one usable setting/sound.   FYI, I was using the CAD version JT30VC.  
 
Why didn't I buy one then?  Well, they're expensive, and I don't really need another amp, so I guess I didn't play them long enough to make a serious purchase decision. I was just curious really.  --john k.
