EVERYBODY knows of Toots. The man who put the Jazz

- - Nobuo Tokunaga
I recently discovered this Japanese artist on the web.
 His site is in
Japanese, but he has MP3's to sample. I am very
impressed with his palying
and am looking for some place in the US that may carry
his CD's.

- - Claude Garden
This French player is fantastic. What an incredible
tone! What chops! To
bad he has only one jazz album out. He plays
classical too. His CD can be
purchased in the US for $15 through Cadence jazz CD's.
 See link below.

Some pop oriented stuff, some jazz. Great sound!
Wish he would put out
some dedicated jazz CD's.

- - Hendrik Meurkens
Dutch player who also plays vibes. Latin flavored jazz
is his thing, but
also plays straight ahead jazz. Smooth player.

- - Hermine Deurloo - Dutch girl on Chrom - Very nice
chops. Toots called her
Tootsie! I have a CD of hers, all bossa stuff,
excellent.

Richard also has his CD for sale, but its cheaper and
easier to purchase
online with the first link.
I just ordered the above CD with a guitar player.
Many years ago he sent me
an LP of him and a Brazilian guitar player. Very nice
stuff.

- - Charles Leighton
He has a CD out of standards called "Angel Eyes". he
has a great tone, but
plays the head only with some very light (if any)
improv.

- - Larry Adler
Did a CD called "Glory of Gershwin". Not a jazz guy,
but jazz tunes very
well done with a whole mess of pop stars. Wonderful
sound.

- - Ron Kalina
Did an LP with a tuba player called "Children at
Play". Am still trying to
find that on CD. I have his tape.

- - Randy Singer
Not really jazz, but jazz influence. His samples
reveal a killer tone.

Thats about all the jazz chrom artists that I have

some not so
inspiring.
