They made 100 amps and that was it. The Spirit was an amp that Nick wanted
built to make his guitar playing sound better. When he had it made, he had
some mods
done to make it good for harp. Nick and Chuck made the batch of 100 and
started
selling them. Things were going good but Nick lost his interest and drive.
Chuck
didn't have the time or cash to make it go so they just let it fizzle away.
Such is the
end of the spirit. It's too bad really. The Spirit was a pricey little amp
but a great little
harp amp.

The Spirit guys were down to their last two Harp Pro's and had one of them
listed
on Ebay. I asked one of the owners (who had the amp listed) the same
question.
He told me they were re-tooling. I'm not sure if that's the case or if he
was just
unwilling to admit failure to a stranger over the internet. Seems if they
were just
re-tooling they'd leave their website up with a stay tuned, we're retooling,
we'll be back
soon, type message on their homepage.

Scooter,
Can you clue us in on what mods were made to make it harp-friendlier?
Thanks.
