[Harp-L] Harmonica Player Fashion - New Thread(s?)

Enough about the guitar player. The bottom line is that looking cool (appropriate) on stage adds to the overall credibility.

However, I think that its best done when there is a link between how you look and your own roots. Folks have mentioned the Blues Brothers (e.g. Bill Clarke) look, the Bowling Shirt (e.g. Gary Smith) look, the Rod Piazza look, the Office Casual look, the Garage look, etc. It is what is played with real emotion and honesty that really connects with an audience - i.e. to play from the heart. So how you dress on stage should also be consistent with yourself as a person and not yourself as a poser. To get up there and play real but look fake sends a mixed message.
