 I played trumpet but had to give it up as my face has been 
shattered..TWICE. Since my jaw is all pins & wires, I cannot get posts 
put in, therefore have no way to brace my store bought teeth. I still 
DO play a little clarinet and accordion. This is one of the reasons I 
stated that (to ME) chromatic was easier, as my experience with past 
instruments was easily transferrable.
 I guess if I had started out with diatonic, I would feel much 
differently. In fact, Tom Ball has me really thinking.
