The song that did it for me was Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson's "I'm Her Man" on Canned Heat's
"Hallelujah" lp. It's a 3rd position blues, but there's something a little different about it.
Hard to put my finger on. I think Pat Missin has previously written about it here on harp-l.
