Well said, 
and just playing the melody in 5th position ( E on a C harp) is the best 2&3
hole exersize that i've ever tried! Start on 3 draw (B), bend down as low as
you can go(third bend = Ab),fist bend on hole 2 (F#)
play this phrase four times then
second bend on hole 3 (A), second bend on hole 2 (F), blow 2 (E),
third bend hole 3 blow 2 draw 1 blow 2
Repeat

Even the bridge works out without overblows!
