Re: [Harp-L] Rod Piazza  -On Third Thought

I always see Rod Piazza and the Mighty Rhythm Kings,
when they come to town. WHY?
Because they are ENTERTAINERS, and that is
what a lot of bands forget. The blues is steeped
in performance trickery and hi-jinks. It is not enough
to be brillant on your instrument alone.
Most audience members are not harp maniacs,
they respond to PERFORMANCE.
Come to think of it, I go see players for two
things: mastery of the Instrument and
entertainment. Combine the 2 and
you are a pro.
