Re: [Harp-L] Clarification

I remember going to see rock bands in the 60's. Sometimes they would sound good, sometimes they had an off night.

I remember thinking the original Traffic was terrible after seeing a live show at the Grande in Detroit. Likewise for Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac (when Mick Fleetwood was so drunk that he kept drooling and falling off his drum seat) and Queen at Ford Auditorium.

Well, obviously these bands and musicians are first rate, but suffered from reality and humanness in that there will be a night or two where it just doesn't come together.

Same can be said for a blues show and a particular amp.

Don't draw conclusions from one example. If, after three times experiencing the amp/band/musician you are let down, perhaps then you might conclude that it just isn't happening with this chemistry.

Subject: [Harp-L] Clarification

A few days ago I posted my opinion about the Meteor. That I thought It
sounded "thin and didn't project well" By the way, this was my first post and
now
regret it. My intention was not to cause irritation. It just wasn't my night
to hear what this amp can do.
