[Harp-L] Cheapo Amp

"Is there any reason why I can't buy a cheapo guitar practice 10W amp and plug a microphone in . .
."

That's exactly what the highly desirable Kalamazoo amp was - a 15w practice amp from the Sears
catalog intended as a companion to their beginners Gibson guitar.

I love my Kalamazoo. Not just for the sound, but just as much for its lightweight portability.
If I'm going out to a club to see friends play, and I'm not sure if I might get called upon, I'll
always toss the Kalamazoo in the trunk just in case. But if I'm SURE I'm going to be playing I
might take my Portablues-H which weighs twice as much.
