Re: Fw: [Harp-L] my valve setup

Microfiber seems flimsy to be used on its own. Do you use microfiber as a
single or double valve? If double, what do you use as support material?

I pay no attention whatsoever to it...I'm sure Pat Missin will blanche white
when he reads this...I notice no difference, if there is one.

Do you cut it so it stretches the width or length of the valve?

Thanks,

I don't know how to measure that. But I can tell you that it's about twice
as thick as a plastic windsaver. The color makes no difference. Asking for
ultrasuede will be your best bet in a fabric store. Also ask if they have a
scrape box with this material. I bought a 4in wide by 1 yard piece for about
$1.00. It will make a lot of valves. The material also will have give or
stretch in one direction only.
