You may even use electrician's platic strapping to attach the key ring,
if there is no place to attach it.

Is there a picture of the mic somewhere?

Ihave a bottleoblues mini-mic and play a chromonica. Anyone know od a finger loop to attach to a mic to assist in holding a mic when playing a chromatic? Any suggestions welcome. gsp@xxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ Harp-L is sponsored by SPAH, http://www.spah.org Harp-L@xxxxxxxxxx http://harp-l.org/mailman/listinfo/harp-l

I was going to suggest something like a hose washer and a hose clamp, but the cable tie/key ring is pretty much the same thing. Another thing that might work is velcro combined with something round. Baling wire would be completely ugly, but you could twist a loop around the mic and have another loop that goes around your finger--sort of a figure 8 with the two loops perpendicular to each other.

Would something flat that you can stick between the fingers of your mic hand work? If the mic is tapered toward the cord end you could drill a hole in something flat--plastic, wood, whatever--that's big enough for the mic to fit into about half way and hold the other end between your fingers.

When I'm trying to figure something like that out I'll go to the hardware store and wander around looking for inspiration.
