Just set an led lamp behind a piece of plexi glass, mount it above the knobs. Or
use an already available product like below.

Get fancy like the synthesizer manufacturers and put a goose neck connection on
your amp.

I think you should build the whole amp out of plexi glass, set up lights so you
have a lava lamp effect going, have it synch to the music of course.

Something needs to be done about the grill cloth as well. It's always some drab
color.
