[Harp-L] embossing

Altho it may be desireable to emboss a reedslot on both sides of the  
reedplate, am i still correct in my opinion that the most beneficial  embossing is 
done on top of the reed itself?   Whether or  not i am correct, how does a 
person *easily* push back the edges of a  reedslot with a screwdriver?  This would 
usually mean getting a  screwdriver under the reed, no?  That doesn't sound 
easy at all.  What  am i missing?
