Re: [Harp-L] harpin' Sopranos

The Sopranos website lists all the music used in each episode, which is extemely handy since there's so much great music on the show. I'm guessing you're talking about episode 11, which uses the harp-heavy R.L. Burnsude tune "It's Bad You Know." Here's where to check:

http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/episode/season1/episode11.shtml

Click on the music credits box, and there are all the songs used in the episode.

That Burnside track can be found on both the first Sopranos soundtrack compilation and Burnside's album "Come On In," a fascinating mix of traditional blues and modern beat mixes. I don't know if it's Burnside himself or someone else actually playing that harp groove, but I like it.

Last week I bought "The Sopranos" first season in DVD.
In one of the last chapters, one of the gangster is going to be murdered
in a small boat. Do any of you harp-lers recognised the harp tune used
in that scene?
