Re: [Harp-L] Harp Cases Question

There's a picture of Jason's case on this page.

Carlos Del Junco had a similar case but smaller, did not see it up close but it sort of looked like a black makeup case; looked like he had about 16 harps in there. Harps where standing up on end in the case like Jason's.

Currently I am using a cardboard box and I carry the box in a cloth bag with handles. I can put mic's in the bag and my music "note" binder. Probably should put the mic in protective foam in case I drop it.

Speaking of dropping mics, I noticed Nico Wayne Toussaint keeps a loop of mic chord in his hand, presumably to avoid dropping the mic if he steps on the chord.

Subject: [Harp-L] Harp Cases Question

Hi all,

I don't really want to spend the money on a brand new harp carrying case, so I'm thinking about buying an old, used clarinet case or something of a similar size to carry my harps in. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations about how to hold the harmonicas in place?

Regards,
Vergil
