The Low D is a harmonica in the key of D, but tuned one octave lower than
usual. It is great for doing those low saxophone lines or for doing rythm.

They're also great for playing traditional Irish music as they put you at the same pitch as the fiddles instead of an octave above, as with the regular D. Even better if in Paddy Richter tuning. Best of all if it's a Special 20 low D. Tell those guys at Hohner to keep 'em coming thick and fast, Fernando!
