Re: [Harp-L] Duo Groups

I got a few...

Charles Bronson & Henry Fonda!
[Alright, maybe Once Upon a Time in the West doesn't count!]

So, how about Jesse the kid and Willy the whale?
[in Free Willy... WORST simulated harp playing on film I can think of!]

Ok, seriously... and surprised no one's mentioned them yet - how about:
Toots Thielemans & Kenny Werner?

Others...
William Galison and Madeleine Peyroux - one of my favorite recent CDs.
Mike Stevens and string-player Raymond McLain - bluegrass on steroids!!
I also really like Howard Levy paired with Glen Velez.
Steve Guyger and Paul Oscher play doubles together a lot, [tho' Steve needs
to work on his backhand a little ;)] but Steve in duo with guitarist Rich
Yescalis is an unbeatable blues combo, if you ask me.

And one of the best, unequaled matchups I can ever recall - a shame no CD
came out of their union that I know of - was the incredible Brendan Power
teamed with guitarist deluxe, Dean Magraw. They stormed audiences at both
the Harmonica Summit and SPAH the following year, leaving an indelible mark
on me and many others as well.

Then, there's Tommy Morgan with... um....... EVERYBODY!!
And finally, of course... there's Stevie Wonder and........

...Stevie Wonder!!! :)

Sorry... it's silly hour.
Cheers!
Bobbie
