Howard doesn't like the brightness of the marine band covers.  And
even with the Sp20 covers he still puts black electrician's tape on
the underneath to further dampen darken the sound.

Filisko uses the Marine Bands due to tradition.  He could do what he
does to anything else but he like the nostalgia of the old Marine
Bands.  If he were making his harps out of big rivers, blues harps,
sp20 etc...that what guys like Howard, me and everybody else would be
using.  It's not so much what model of harp it more of how well
Filisko makes them work.
