[Harp-L] RE: 10th Annual UnTapped Blues Festival - 2006 Line-up Announced

This Festival is set in Kenniwick Washington...
Sounds like a GREAT TIME for Harp Lovers!!!!

We're pullin' out all the stops at the 10th Annual UnTapped Blues Festival
which will be held Saturday May 13th, 2006 at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
This year we are bringing you some of the best bands from the Northwest, some
of the best bands from past UnTapped fests, and some of the Best Bands
period!

HEADLINING the show is the 3-time Handy Award winners for the nation's "BLUES
BAND OF THE YEAR" and the 1998 Blues Harmonica player of the year, Rod Piazza
and the Might Flyers, featuring the wonderfully talented Honey Piazza on the
keys. This is your ONLY opportunity to see Rod Piazza in the Northwest on
this trip. Don't miss the show. http://www.themightyflyers.com/

Returning to UnTapped is the east coast's jumpin-est, howlin-est pack of dogs
that ever got a tail a-waggin, Yes, it's, The Love Dogs! Featuring New
England's "Most Charismatic Entertainer of 2005, Mr. Ed Sheer! You have been
asking for them to come back and so here they come and you can bet they will
be singing their song written especially for all our friends down in Walla
Walla! http://thelovedogs.com/

For the first time UnTapped will feature the very well recognized and
certainly loved entertainer of the Northwest, Duffy Bishop
http://duffybishop.com/. Duffy's energetic stage persona and extreme vocal
prowess will certainly be a highlight for many at this year's show and will
certainly explain why she is one of the most awarded entertainers around.

That "Kingsize Trouble Maker" is back in the saddle and will rock your blues
away, guaranteed. Too Slim and the Taildraggers make an unprecendented 3rd
time appearance at UnTapped. Bring one, bring all you know who you are and
Too Slim's got your number! http://tooslim.org/

The keys are gonna be singing this year and certainly you "Blues and Rock'n
Boogie Woogie Piano Lovers" are going to be happy to see and hear Kenny
"Blues Boss" Wayne from Vancouver, BC. http://www.kennybluesboss.com/

You've seen him at UnTapped before, but never with his own band. The world
renowned harmonical player, instrumentalist and vocalist Norton Buffalo and
the Knockouts make a trip to the Northwest just for you. In addition to the
decades of work on stage with Steve Miller, Norton has a musical resume that
is too impressive to list. He'll blow you away just like that harp of his.
Visit his website and check him out! http://www.norton-buffalo.com/

Don't miss the first note played at UnTapped this year because it will send
your rock-a-billy meter off the scale and send you swingin' just like the
last note of the night. The day kick's off with the extremely entertaining
and fun band, The Strange Tones. This band has taken over their hometown of
Portland like never before. The radio stations, the club owners and the
blues fans all agree that the swing'n vintage sounds of this group will take
them along way. And in 2006 their first festival stop is UnTapped. With
"Guitar Julie" Strange on lead vocals and guitar you'll be running to get her
autograph on their CD Stink-Bomb or their newly released hit Crime-a-Billy

UnTapped 2006 is guaranteed to leave you saying that "That was the best one
ever!" We are confident that you will feel this way. Come out, enjoy a fun
filled day of Blues and Brews at the UnTapped Blues Festival on May 13, 2006.
